I almost forgot I wanted to post this earlier and I apparently got too busy being out doors. We read about St. Patrick today and what this day is really about. So here is St. Patrick's hymn:
"Christ with me, Christ before me,
Christ behind me, Christ within me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ at my right, Christ at my left,
Christ in the fort,
Christ in the chariot-seat,
Christ in the ship."
So runs part of the beautiful old hymn of Saint Patrick, and we do not wonder that he who was so truly a follower of Christ came to be called a saint.
